HDEV 110 - Strategies for Creating Success in College, Work, and Life

Recommended Preparation: ENGL 1  or eligibility for ENGL 1A  or qualification by appropriate assessment or concurrent enrollment in ESL 52B  and/or ESL 53C

This course provides an exploration of cognitive, psychological, social and physical factors influencing college success, educational and career planning, and workforce preparedness. Topics include personal responsibility, critical thinking, self-management, motivation, self-efficacy, lifelong learning, health and wellness, and interpersonal communication in a diverse world. Students will identify and utilize strategies and resources for success in college, work, and life.
