Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile ProcessingTechnician Noncredit Certificate of Completion pre pares students for entry-level positions within the sterile processing field. Students will learn about the scope of practice, tasks, and responsibilities of the sterile processing technician, universal safety precautions and personal protective equipment, and the classifications, uses, storing, preparation, handling, and distributing of surgical instruments and supplies. The program also includes career research and development.
