A Certificate of Achievement will be granted upon completion of all program requirements. At least 50 percent of the courses required for the certificate must be completed at El Camino College.

Required Core: 13 units

Completion of Level I Certificate of Accomplishment

• COSM 1 - Introduction to Cosmetology Procedures 13 units

• or

• COSM 10 - Introduction to Cosmetology I 6.5 units

• and

• COSM 11 - Introduction to Cosmetology II 6.5 units

28-29 units from:

• COSM 2A - Intermediate Cosmetology 8 units
• COSM 2B - Advanced Cosmetology 8 units
• COSM 2C - Advanced Cosmetology and Introduction to State Board Review 8 units
• COSM 2D - Advanced Preparation for State Board Review 8 units
