The Accounting - Tax Preparation Certificate of Achievement is designed for students who wish to enter the tax preparation profession. Upon completion of the program, students will have the basic skills for entry-level tax preparation positions working with certified publish accountants (CPA’s), Internal Revenue Service (IRS) enrolled agents (EA’s) or California Tax Education Council (CTEC) registered tax preparers. Students will have the knowledge to pursue certifications with the Internal Revenue Service or CTEC.
Certificate of Achievement
A Certificate of Achievement will be granted upon completion of the program requirements. A minimum of 10 units must be completed at El Camino College.
