MATH 140 - Finite Mathematics for Business and Social Sciences

4 hours lecture
Prerequisite: MATH 67  or MATH 73  or MATH 80  with a minimum grade of C in prerequisite or qualification by testing (El Camino College Mathematics Placement Test) and assessment

This course consists of a study of the Gauss-Jordan method, matrices, linear programming from a geometrical approach, logic sets, combinatorics, probability, Bayes’ theorem, random variables, descriptive statistics, and Markov chains.
