The noncredit Introduction to College and University Success Certificate of Completion is designed to enhance student achievement in higher education and facilitate a smooth university transfer process. The curriculum focuses on essential skills for college success, including personal development, college readiness, effective study habits, time management, learning preferences, goal setting, educational planning, support networks, and campus resources. Transfer-related coursework provides an exploration of higher education options, the transfer process, educational and transfer goal setting, university admissions criteria, major preparation requirements, and financial planning for college. Students earn the Certificate of Completion upon successfully completing either HDEV 500 or HDEV 510, and HDEV 506.
