ITAL 3 - Intermediate Italian 1

Italian 3, taught within the context of Italian culture, emphasizes the study of the essentials of Italian grammar and the fundamentals of Italian composition. It is a continuation of Italian 2 at an intermediate level. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to express themselves using sentences in the indicative, conditional, and subjunctive moods, expanding their knowledge about culture and current events. The passive form will also be introduced. Students will read Italian writings, and will expand Italian vocabulary, learn how to discuss Italian contemporary society, the history of the Italian language, Italian lifestyle, and different traditions and dialects.
