This course provides instruction in news production for television, radio, and other broadcast media. Principles and techniques of broadcast news, including interviewing, writing, and presenting materials for radio and television are covered. Emphasis is placed on methods of gathering information, preparing broadcast news scripts, and discussing the ethics and laws that govern broadcasters.
