Medical Transcription

The Medical Transcription Noncredit Certificate of Completion prepares students for an entry-level position in medical transcription. Students will learn about the scope of practice, tasks, and responsibilities of medical transcriptions; proofreading skills; common Greek and Latin prefixes, roots, and suffixes used in medical terminology; medical abbreviations; and the use of transcription equipment. The program also includes career research and development.
